Jo-Ann Jefferson is a passionate advocate for the empowerment of women and a trailblazer in the pageant world. The Miss Black America Local – Montclair Pageant

Pageant Information
This category celebrates the intelligence, beauty, and power of Black women ages
18 to 29 who are ready to make an impact. Contestants will showcase their talent, leadership, and commitment to excellence as they compete for the chance to represent Montclair on a larger stage. More than just a crown,
Miss Black America Local – Montclair is about empowerment, community, and embracing the strength of Black womanhood. Are you ready to step into your purpose and shine?
10 to 12 who are ready to step into the spotlight with confidence and grace! This division encourages contestants to showcase their personality, stage presence, and poise while embracing the values of leadership and self-expression. Little Divas gain valuable experience in public speaking, presentation, and self-confidence, all while having fun and forming lifelong friendships. It’s a celebration of beauty, talent, and the bright future ahead!
The Teen Diva category is for young women ages
13 to 17 who are ready to shine as role models and future leaders. This division goes beyond beauty—it’s about confidence, intelligence, and empowerment. Teen Divas have the opportunity to showcase their poise, talent, and personal achievements while developing skills in leadership, public speaking, and self-expression. This is a platform for young women to embrace their individuality, inspire others, and step boldly into their future with grace and purpose!
The Elegant Diva category is for sophisticated and confident women ages 30 to 49 who embody grace, strength, and beauty. This division celebrates women who have embraced their journey, exude self-assurance, and inspire others through their presence and achievements. Elegant Divas have the opportunity to showcase their poise, personality, and personal growth while proving that confidence and glamour have no age limit. It’s a celebration of womanhood, resilience, and the power of owning your elegance!
The Silva Diva category honors the wisdom, beauty, and confidence of women ages 50 and up
—because true elegance only gets better with time! This division is a celebration of strength, resilience, and the incredible journeys these women have taken. Whether they are 50 or
103 years young, every Silva Diva shines with grace, wisdom, and a radiant spirit that inspires generations. This is more than a competition—it’s a tribute to the power, experience, and timeless beauty of women who continue to dazzle the world!
A true embodiment of grace, wisdom, and timeless elegance, the Queen Diva
category honors accomplished women
ages 50 and up who have already held a
queen title in any pageant. These extraordinary women continue to shine, inspiring others with their confidence, poise, and unwavering spirit. Once a queen, always a queen—this is your time to reign again! 👑
